Teachers’ article: stuttering in the early school years

There is still widespread misunderstanding and lack of stuttering awareness in the Danish schools and healthcare system. It is my mission to change this step by step, and work towards more awareness: every day, interaction per interaction. Some of those steps have a bigger impact, such as this article that was published by Folkeskolen, Denmark’s national teachers’ journal. It is aimed at educators of the early school years and it is written in Danish. If you are not a teacher, you can still share this article with Danish schools you have a connection with, and help by lending the tools needed to recognise and manage stuttering.

Der er stadig udbredt misforståelse og manglende bevidsthed om stammen i de danske skoler og sundhedsvæsenet. Det er min mission at ændre dette trin for trin og arbejde for at skabe større bevidsthed: hver dag, interaktion for interaktion.
